April 18th, 2026 Women's Luncheon
The luncheon will be held from 11:30–2:00 on April 18th, at the Greer City Hall. More details to come in the next few weeks!
Past Activities
April 2025: We held a Ladies’ Tea at church, centered on the theme “Kind Words, Gentle Tongues” from Proverbs 31:26. Our ladies enjoyed a sweet time of fellowship over a traditional Afternoon Tea of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and lemon curd and, of course, plenty of tea.

November 2024: We had a wonderful time at our women & girls overnight outing to the Wilds on November 15-16. Our theme was Knitting Our Hearts Together (Colossians 2:2).
The Friday evening challenge title was “Knit Together in Love Because of our Identity in Christ.” Elena Smith was our speaker. We also had various workshops on Saturday for our ladies, teens, and children that integrated Bible principles to help us enhance our skills in knitting strong relationships. They focused on practical ways to love and create joyful connections, following patterns from Jesus’ words and actions.

October 2022: We had a “Ladies’ Luncheon” at the Red Dutch Barn in Greer, in which we kept it to a simple but enjoyable time of potluck food and fellowship. In spite of the effects of Hurricane Ian coming through the day before, the Lord gave us a gorgeous day for the luncheon. We are grateful to Him for the blessings of sweet fellowship together.

October 2021 brought in our Ladies’ County Fair which we held at our church property. It was an exciting day complete with horseback riding and demonstrations, hayrides, crafts, booth games, a petting zoo, popcorn, and lots of other food. Hidden talents among our ladies appeared through the baking, art, sewing, canning, and gardening competitions. The Lord gave us a beautiful day weather-wise.

October 2020 brought a fun "Big Screen Fellowship" time for our women. Those who attended the event enjoyed chatting outside with friends while getting their yummy snacks for the evening. Popcorn, pumpkin bread, grapes, and hot and cold beverages were available. The kids enjoyed a simple craft of making a pumpkin night light. Then we settled down in the parking lot with our lawn chairs and cozy blankets/sweaters handy to enjoy an evening of singing together, playing texting games put up on the big screen, watching pre-recorded stories that happened during COVID-19 lockdown, and pre-recorded testimonies of God's working in the lives of some of our women. We also had "live" testimonies from two of our women.
